The Institute for Conscious Change is co-sponsoring the development of a NEW Tibetan Multimedia & Technology Education & Services Center in Dharamsala, India, with Tibetan photojournalist Lobsang Wangyal. The purpose is to provide an office for free or low cost education for the Tibetan youth to learn computer tech and it’s many uses. Funds also support laptop computers for remote Tibetan monasteries. 100% of your Tibet donation is deliverd in cash or equipment. Consider traveling to India in Oct '08 to help deliver the equipment!

 

Tax Deductible DONATIONS NEEDED:

• Cash donations for computers, office equipment, teaching supplies – tech books, USB Memory Sticks, external hard drives for backups, etc.

 

• PC Laptop Computers: Sponsor a full or partial donation for the purchase of a new laptop computer (~$800-$1000+). These computers are needed for the tech center as well as remote monasteries that have little funding.

 

• Office Rental in Dharamsala: For $225 per month sponsor one month to one year or more of office space – $225USD per month. This office provides a community space for free tech education to the local Tibetan youth.

 

• Travel to India: Need adventurous, positive people to travel to India on group trip in late October (or into November) to bring the tech equipment to Dharamsala.
